my 1970 B6000 Kubota has gotten water in the hydraulic fluid. I drained out everthing I could , My manual called for 80-90 gear oil which so thick it was unusable. How do I go about Purging all water comtaminated fuild out of the system.

Basically continue what you are doing. Go to Walmart and get some of their tractor transmission/hydraulic fluid, refill with new filters, operate for 5 to 10 hours and repeat the drain and replace filters. Refill with a good quality oil of your choice. The Walmart oil is made for them by Shell so it is a good oil as well. ....

The bigger question is how did water get there in the first place? Under normal use my 60-some-year-old Fordson had decent looking oil. Eventually the pump blew apart. When I took it apart there were iron icecicles hanging from under the 3pt hitch cylinder cover---a few were so big and long that they fell off and into the pump which caused it break apart. ....
